By Train:
From Newcastle Central Station, take the Metro to Gateshead [just one stop]. On leaving the station, turn left down the hill. You will be able to see the bridge and the roof of the Sage building. Cross the road and walk down the hill until you come to the Tyneside Cinema (old Town Hall) with its pretty little clock. Turn right immediately after the clock. Swinburne House is the second building you come to. NCHM is the second door in the building. The door is inscribed "Library". Use the intercom button to tell us you have arrived.
By Bus:
The Interchange is associated with the Metro Station On leaving the station, turn left down the hill and follow the instructions as above
By Car:
Use the map opposite. Pay and Display operates in car parks
